The non-real-time RAN intelligent controller (PIC) project provides concept, specifications, architecture and reference implementations as defined and described by the O-RAN Alliance architecture. As a RAN specific SDN Controller solutions it implements management and control interfaces towards the "near real-time RIC" and if required also to O-CU, O-DU, and O-RU. Northbound it provides open interfaces to ONAP.
All implementations are demonstrated in open community labs to prove functionalities and to give feedback to the O-RAN working groups.
