Release A preparations
Components:
Prototype SDNC-based A1 adapter component, impleenting a pre-spec version of A1 protocol southbound, with a restconf-like northbound interface
Very lightweight A1 terminator to simulate/stub near-rtric for integration/testing
Dashboard function for PolicyType/PolicyInstance manipulation
Currently working through License checks ... ongoing
Repos: perhaps some of the functions should be split out into sub-repos, or moved to more appropriate existing repos ... ongoing
Documentation and wiki contributions is a high priority ... ongoing
Integration: Unclear if we will be able to achieve integration with Dashborad & nearRTRIC functions. We will continue to try for Release A timeframe. ... ongoing.
Tracy: Anything to Demo in Dec timeframe (Plugfest?), or later in Q1 2020?. John: Not for December - timelines are too tight. January etc should be fine.
Release B:
A1 adapter will be based on CDS
Comments, suggestions are very welcome.
Trying to break down usecases into more concrete requirments.
Need to work even more closely with RSAC and other projects to align requirements and priorities.
Ongoing challenges trying to scope NONRTRIC - SMO - OAM scope and boundaries
Release B usecase:
As proposed by RSAC. Excellent usecase that exercises may parts of NONRTRIC and other ORAN functions. Many functions may not be available in Release B timescales - so significant simplifications may be needed. Will continue working through issues.
A1 interface specification is now released.

Welcome proposal to flush out description of the SMO/Non-RealTime RIC functions. Overlaps WG1 and WG2?
This group can provide significant input here. Need to ensure that contributions are not too ONAP-specific.

Committer (nonrtric): Propose Henrik Andersson as an additional committer for nonrtric repo. Need to investigate which is current procedure for adding new committers.
