  • Wrapping up ONAP Kohn tasks for A1-Policy Management Service

  • Service Exposure:
    • Continuing work on this topic
    • Still need to push up some of the artifacts from the demo a few weeks ago
    • Working on a CAPIF core implementation - backend for service registry & discovery etc.
      • Will continue across next release
  • Data Exposure
    • Still working on PM collection, filtering & distribution
    • Trying to find a solution for Data exposure enforcement similar to SEF enfocement
      • ,,, but need some additional work, e.g. to restrict/allow access in kafka (Non-REST interfaces)
  • Working on rApp manager - lots to do there!
    • Plan to experiment with rApp packaging, onboarding, LCM
      • Reusing alot from ONAP ACM work

      • Can probably use NONRTRIC ICS (as a DME)
        • ... but needs updates, will examine if bulk/datalake could be accessed?
      • What about data from near-RT-RICs to SMO/Training platform?
        • Currently O1 (PM or Trace) is the only way .. BUT discussions about a new Y1 interface might make analytics data from near-RT-RICs (or other RAN functions)
          • But in the meantime, lets just assume the data can get there.
      • Assist rApp: What about rApp-rApp communitions - Data must use R1-DME, Services must use R1-SME (with all necessary registration, & have an R1 types defined)
        • An rApp can have multiple uServices - but intra-rApp interaction does not need to use R1
    • LCM or ML-based rApps (or the ML-based uService inside an rApp)
      • Currently, ML model is wrapped in an image including the inference platform, then deployed using KServe (no Helm chart)
        • ... Not sure yet how to do this with ONAP ACM manager ... Maybe a new participant?)
    • Relationship AIHP in Non-RT-RIC might use NFO? Unclear still
